1. Get the L^ATEX demo file, create a dvi and a PostScript file. Control the result with ghostview, before sending it to a (black and white) printer.

   Hints:

   • Use the following path:
       H:\programm\texmf\miktex\bin;H:\programm\gstools\gsview
       

   • The dvi previewer for Windows is called yap.

2. Repeat the last step, this time using the Windows program texshell.

   Hints:

   • The texshell needs some initial files, which are copied to your home directory with the command tex. Create a link to the texshell
     (H:\programm\texmf\texshell\TeXShell.exe) on your desktop.

3. Translate the demo with latex2html. Create a directory which contains all files that should be uploaded to a web server, and control the result with your browser.
4. Write a L^ATEX file that creates the page for the third Maple example (``Indefinite and Definite Integrals'') and translate it to HTML.

   Hints:

   • Start with a file reproducing only the text and the formulas. Including the graphics and fine tuning of the appearance can be done afterwards.
